The problem

The operation lived scattered across spreadsheets, email and systems that didn't talk to each other. Invoicing, tracking tasks and reconciling the bank were manual, slow and error-prone. They needed one place, built for the business itself, shaped to fit how the team actually works.

The approach

We started from how the team really works, not from the stack. We mapped the end-to-end flow and built a navigable prototype in days to decide on something real. From there we iterated fast to a production system people adopt because it fits their day.

What we built

  • Invoicing and document issuance integrated into the sales flow.
  • Task management and operational tracking per client and project.
  • Semi-automatic bank reconciliation matching movements to documents.
  • CRM with the full client record and history in one place.
  • Reports and dashboards to see the state of the business at a glance.

The result

A single source of truth to run the business. Duplicate work across spreadsheets is gone, invoicing and reconciliation no longer eat entire afternoons, and the team has real-time visibility. It's MagiqApps' own product, in production and in daily use.

Why we built it custom

An off-the-shelf ERP forces the business to bend to fit the software. Here it was the opposite: the system was shaped around how the team really works. That’s what makes it used every day instead of abandoned after three months.

Being our own product, it also works as a testbed: what we learn operating it turns into better decisions for our clients’ projects.
